Some parts impressed, others didn't
Fine location along the canal, with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff who went out of their way to provide helpful recommendations. The room was comfortable with good complimentary refreshments.
The narrow access to some rooms can be a hassle, especially on the upper floors. There were also issues with noise from the bar area that disrupted relaxation.

I had reasonably priced room in full view of the bedroom. There were a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fridge, and a seating area too.

Unexpected kindness in a cozy room
The cozy room offered a lovely contrast to the busy streets outside. The staff sent us a sweet surprise for our anniversary.
The lobby was a bit crowded during peak hours. A little more space would have.

Atmospheric and clean hotel, the staff who served us were courteous, and it had brilliant location in great neighbourhood. We asked for a double room and the one given was extremely spacious and bright. We greatly enjoyed that there were central heating, a work desk and television. Location: the property was just next door to shops and points of interest, and main shopping streets and restaurants.

Although the location was great and the rooms large unfortunately we had the noise coming from garbage pick ups bakery deliveries staff vacuuming at 10pm and guests coming home at night that sleep was hard to get.

Location, right on a canal and centrally located, friendliness of staff, size of room, 2 fullsize beds.
No a/c, the room was pretty old and run down, old carpeting. The sleeper sofa was really old and ratty. We ended up having the kids in our beds. Not good for small children as you need to open the windows because it was really hot in the room nand they could easily fall out. Our kids are old enough so this was not a concern. It was alss noisy from the outside at night but that's expected for being so centrally located.

close to iconic attractions and beautiful parks for strolling
I couldn't have asked for a better spot to explore the city, being just a short walk to the fine Anne Frank House and less than a kilometer from the lively Red Light District made my weekend strolls so enjoyable and convenient.

Was happy with the upgrade to a canal view room for free. Fairly decent sized room. Quiet as well. Staff fairly helpful. Good location, short walk to city center.
It was a little pricy, and internet isn't free (only 30 mins). heaters didn't get as warm as I would have wanted, but it wasnt cold at night.
